Its the sequel to a classic film from the 1983 about a high school kid who accidentally hacks (how can you accidentally hack?) into a government supercomputer which has a rather good AI routine and a fascination for chess.

Lol Wargames is an awesome film and fyi he didn't accidentally hack into it, he was looking for the newest computer games on the game design harddrives. He finds the wargame file and logs in using the password joshua (after research the guy who made it's background iirc his son was called Joshua or something). It's a really good film

He was trying to hack "Protovision" not the USA military therefore he accidently hacked into the wrong system as I said
