tbh that isnt a fact , defeating army's is one thing keeping control over alot of other countries is another . Besides that within germanny people might have realised that nazi's werent good and that they had to be overthrown.
Then not even speaking about what would have happened to the USA themself if they hadnt had helped in the war.

I am glad that the USA helped us in WW2, but it isnt a clear cut case that if they were the ones that defeated the germans and that without them we were doomed. It would have been another world for sure, but which one we would never know and tbh i don't even want to know.

You are so badly misinformed it sickens me. We would not have been under Nazi control simply because the British and the Russians would have still kicked the Nazis asses in World War 2 without the help of the Americans, but a lot more men would have been lost in the process.

Back on-topic : Against the war, because I feel that Britain and America have lost good soldiers in a war for oil. Blair and Bush seem to think life is cheap and oil is worth more than blood.

Ye iraq were such a big threat to the us and britain , tbh saddam needed to be removed but not like that . Iraq proved they were extremely dangerous in the war when they used all of there WMD.

you do know that duinkerk(sorry thats dutch spelling ) was in 1940 and america got involved in 1942? So the tides were changed already, it was a stalemate at the time. Ow and americans weapons werent that superiorer if they even were that..
Americans mostly had a giantic industry which just overwhelmed germany and japan. And you cant claim that without the usa we would have been under nazi dictatorship now (that is even if we had lost the war) as europe have fought off greater dictators than hitler, allthough it did take time and alot of casualties.

And america got involved when it had to , it could have concentrated just on japan thats right, but then russia and europe would have most likely been able to fight off germany and usa might have been the only western capatilistic country left and probably soon to follow into the communism. So by helping europe they helped themself aswell.
