[QUESTION] WAR freeze on boot.

Hey all,

I have a problem with WAR, i bought it a few days ago activated everything went through all the activation and install and patching and account activation, then on first boot of the game went through all of the opening cinematic up until the point where the EULA first appears.

Its at that point where it freezes, just after the graphic of the villiage in the background loads.

Windows error sound and this is displayed on the desktop when i alt+tab out.

The game then shuts down when i press the ok button.

Thank you for any assistance i could get on this, my free trial ticks away as i type .

The 2nd image is the same as the first.

Do you use a custom firewall or the windows default? You may find a firewall is blocking you from connecting so you would need to enable it.

Aha i found the problem, it was one game out of about 60 that McAffee decided to block form net axis, cheers, problem is solved.
