Sat down with my boss today and he wants me to go visit a company in the US he's involved with as a VC about partnerships. They're a furniture company who do some really nice stuff, and while I was browsing I saw this (as you all forgot my birthday, cunts, you can club together for it):

Sorry Gaffer, even I can't get on board with this. It looks a bit wank.

I think companies sometimes forget that just because something is marketed as Hand-Made doesn't mean it has to look it...

If its meant to be based on old airframes why are there phillips type screwheads visible where they should be rivets?

They're not Philips, they're Pozidrive.

Sadly the pedants are having an off day. They are rivets. They're a type of aircraft rivet called a cherry rivet (after the company that originally made them)

People even argue about fucking screws on this forum now, seriously? Pozidriv? It's either a flat head or a cross head, otherwise it's some some shitty special one ok?

;p

But I think we've come to an agreement regardless of screw type, it looks hideous, what happened to modern or old wood designs? :(
