For £6,000 !

For guests that wish to experience the precision and detail involved in creating three Michelin starred cuisine, we are pleased to introduce our exclusive master classes at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, Royal Hospital Road.

Our private cookery morning and lunches can be reserved on Saturdays only. Group classes for up to 12 guests begin at 9.30am with the Head Chef and brigade. (Edit: Hmm...not Ramsay Himself, which is what you'd expect for 6 large !)

A three course menu is created especially for your event based on the day’s market produce. The master class is split into small groups, allowing guests to receive hands-on tuition for each dish.

Following this intensive session within the kitchen, guests are able to enjoy lunch in the dining room at 12.30pm with wines selected by our sommelier to compliment the menu. Coffee and chocolates are served after dessert and a collection of the recipes presented to each guest to take away at 4.00pm as a memento of the day. A further 12 guests are welcome to join for lunch to enjoy the dishes that have been prepared during the master class allowing them the opportunity to sample the flavours and textures of the menu created.

The cost for the exclusive master class is £6,000.00. This includes refreshments on arrival, the full morning master class (for a maximum of 12 guests), a three course menu for class attendees, a maximum of 12 additional lunch guests, wines paired to each course and Evian and Badoit throughout. A 12.5% discretionary gratuity is included in the price and VAT at the current rate

That's for a max of 12 people though right? Then you got 12 extra people who can eat the meal. So if you say a 12 couple's go do it (which I assume the extra person is) that would be £500 per couple. Which (if the meal is top class) isn't that bad in terms of the cliental they would be looking to get.

If it was Gordon Ramsay himself, I'd go for it....now that would be an experience ! Gordon's top dog in the kitchen ! Such a funny guy. But TBH, Gordon would probably want £50,000 just to get out of bed, and anyway he's a busy chap.

Ramsay rocks, I would also pay that kind of money to learn from Jason Atherton, that bloke is a future rockstar of chefs.

Still it is only 12 people that learn how to cook, so for the others £500 for only a 3 course meal is alot of money. Even whith wines included.

I'd rather spend £500 on a decent cooking course then doing this.
