I must say, from _all_ the movies that have come out in the last months, i'm so impressed by the alb fights in those movies. damn that sorcer mez range is overpowered omg . Think i can count the moments on 1 finger where i saw an albgroup mez anything at start of fight.

Ever thought that it is to do with the fact that the person that wins initial mezz is normally the group that will win? And as most video's dont show when hibs/mids lose (they primary movie PoV, mainly hib) you wont see albs win initial mezz?

Also a big reason on hib video's that you dont see albs win mezz is that more often then not the hibs coming from the back and so blindsiding the sorc (Even with panning there a 5+second gap in seeing behind) so with mach6 they can get in range and land the mezz in that time.

Anyways, if i made a video of my theurg people could easily say "Cant hib/mid groups win mezz against a solo theurg?" because i often able to outmezz a rr8 or higher pac healer/bard!

Just because you dont see it in video's dont mean it dont happen. It very hard to get the jump on a group that going 2 tiers of speed higher then you as more often then not you will have to push close to insta range (if coming from a behind angle) else their speed will put them out of range

about the movie: it shows how imbalanced hib end range is vs the ones albs have. so many times where i saw a tank leave the caster because he was sprinting away from the tank. if an alb caster does this he's ooe after 5secs. in 9/10 fights an alb doesn't even have 50% end left after the initial spread .And while i'm busy: remove perma sprint & sos from CC classes for gods sake.

Good movie, definately an improvement on the first one simply because eld > bard.

The footage was good, some of the fights went on for an insanely long time - g0g0 power pot spam.

I don't agree. I am an average player, but what I encounter often when losing mezzes is:

- Bards mezzing all but Sorc, little effort with demezz free of interrupts, mezz immunity for the group,
- Healers mezzing all followed by a complete demezz by the Mids with god knows what, immunity for the group,
- Sorc being mezzed with Purge3 down, Minstrel interrupted or mezzed too and often enemy players just break the mezz on the Sorc cause it's a primary target, one QC'ed demezz on Cleric or important class to help out usually solves the situation then,
- me Purge3/MoC3-doing my stuff on incoming (before you flame me, I respecced out of MoC1 at RR8Lx due to this SM/BD-bullshit).

I think a good Sorc will know very fast when the mezz is going to be lost, need a quick decision what to do next then. I also think the the interrupt machine and single target mezzes and roots after the initial phase are more important.

Still... The AoE bolt range mezz is very overrated when it comes to clashing into each other with highspeed and skilled nearsighters and Bards with SoS ready. I have yet to see a driver (as I don't drive myself) that runs in a way that fully utilizes Sorc's and Theurg's range at all times.
