how does VWs DotV or Defenders of the Vale worK? like a minstrel ablative chant and reactive ablative procs? and how much can it absorb?

500 hp, it works like ablative proc i guess, just that its on all the time till its expended when you use it

absorbs 500hp on each groupmember, one use every 30 mins, works like an ablative with 50% abs, lasts 1 min

Also get's overwritten by AA reactive proc and a VW's ablative buff spell.
Very good in a pinch, great against stealther adds if you activate it quickly but sadly the fact it get's overwritten makes 14 points for this RA a luxury. Still has uses of course and in certain situations might be well worth getting, just personally I respecced out of it at 50, was good for xp grps though when healers got aggro

Agree with the above. the 1 minute timer makes it practically useless.

Agree with the above. Unfortunately the Yank's seem to like it as it is so its not guna change I dont think.
