VSync problem sorted

I've been complaining for a while that I get texture 'tearing' from not having vsync enabled. BF1942 disables vsync and there's no option or config entry to enable it. I've emailed EA about this but I don't expect a positive reply.

In the meantime, anyone who's suffering from a lack of vync and using a nVidia card should download NVMax, a little utility which sits in the system tray and allows you to manually specify various options, including the ability to force vsync to stay on in OpenGL and DirectX apps.

You really didn't have to include a picture. :)

Just thought I'd post the reply I got from EA support. Very quick, they were.
Unfortunately we do not have the full details on this yet as it is still not a full and finished product. I can only advise having the latest drivers for the video card which you have and also the latest AGP drivers for your motherboard installed also.

I hope this helps.
