Voting people out of a group?

groups may be able to vote unwanted players out of the party, though this is also unconfirmed.

Did that make it into beta ?

I guess it would be a secret ballot "The group has voted 3-2 to kick XXX".

Ofc, since groups are purely voluntary anyway (disband and rejoin effectively giving the power to kick a person), maybe it isn't very useful.

Also, do people use the open group mechanism much? Can you set it to only allow certain classes to auto-join ?

Noe no kick voting as of end of beta but the group leader can kick as in other games. Open groups were used a lot and were very effective but you cannot limit what classes join, however late in closed beta they did introduce the ability to type in a mission statement which others can see so you could have "looking for healer/tank etc"

group leader can kick anyone at will.

kinda useful when you make a group and forgot to flag it to `closed`.

I think we had it when i started in beta, never really used it myself. Anyhow at guildbeta it wasn't there anymore, just leader with kick&boot-rights

They should make all groups closed on creation anyway (yes I know there's an option that you can activate that does it but it seemed bugged at times) and make an option to open it when you want, kinda annoying grouping with 1 mate then 1 sec later you're in a FG and getting alot of grief as you kicked everyone that joined and closed the group.
