I personally (And everyone ive played with) think it fucking rocks.

Not just the gameplay, but the sheer amount of content and polish. There's a crypt (laymans term: loads of shit to unlock) with stuff from pics of the dev team, the entirety of the old mk comic, hidden characters, weird videos, old mk game endings, etc.

yeah, thats the only lame thing ive found :/ they take so long to wind up though, that against anyone who knows what they're doing is gonna be able to block it :>

edit: there's a better krypt guide here - lists the locations of all the good stuff (characters, costumes, arenas, videos) first

its a very good game, i'd definately say it matches up to tekken/vf4, and im not even that big an mk fanboy

I really haven't liked MK in a while.

I have a GC, PS2 and XB so if they're identical I might wait for the XB version to appear on my HD (by random quantum fluctations of course) although I have a Jap ASCII Capcom vs SNK 2 pad for the PS2 which is gonna be way better than an XBox pad.

VF4 > Tekken 4.

T4 is more fun to start with but put the effort into VF4 and you'll realise how shallow and unbalanced T4 is.
