i was wondering if anyone had an old copy laying around that they wouldnt mind selling to a poor student... vb6 pro/enterprise versions only mind!

I don't I'm afraid - UMIST have it on campus license so I didn't have to worry about that.

One option would be to join the British Computer Society (not very much for Student membership). They offer discounts on pretty much all Microsoft Software - including Visual Studio.NET 2003 Pro for £160. That is still a lot of money I know, but less than the £700 is costs otherwise ;)

Hmmm, just read your post and not sure if you imply VB6 or newer, but anyhow, prolly useful for someone.

Might be worth checking if your university / college is a member of the MSDN

Free MS products except Office. :)
