I've just installed this - works fine.

I've always wanted to disable UAC but heard you couldnt stop a warning message come up each time you boot saying you disabled it.

Maybe a Glen...

Ive disbaled the UAC and the warnings. There is a setting in Windows that allows you to do this. Much better than installing other 3rd party crap on your PC.

Control Panel - Security Center - Other Security Settings: Turn UAC off
Then on the left panel there is: "Change the way Security Centre Alerts me" click that and select the option you want.

Ah right, didnt know you could disable the popups. I'll do that instead :)

another easy way is : start -> run -> msconfig
Under the "Tools" tab you'll find the option to disable UAC and a bunch of other options....

I did this and it stopped Sony Vegas from intialising...had to reverse it...:eek7:

thats weird...did you try running Sony Vegas as administrator?
