Hey folks, got a little problem and I'm a bit out of my depth :/ I recently purchased a laptop and have duly filled it with crap, such as videos and stuff (all legal of course), however I would now like to watch it on my TV, and this is where the problem is.

My laptop has an s-video output hole.
My TV only accepts av-cable input.

Is there anything I can buy, or any gimmicks that I can use, that will turn the s-video signal into an av-cable signal? I've been googling about and I can't find anything :(

Help?

You would be better off posting this in the Hardware forums matey, Jonty is a great help over there.

You can get Svideo to composite video convertors, cheap little things. You then either wire the composite out (single phono socket) to the composite pin on the SCART, or you buy a SCART-phono plug, and a phono cable between the two.

Just to point out that not all TV's like S-Video -> scart, you need to go into the setup on my Sony TV to tell it that you're feeding an S-Video signal through scart; otherwise it ends up greyscale iirc.
