Video capture devices

some assistance needed :)

i've been on the lookout for video capture kit recently and its awkward to say the least to get anything semi-decent without paying through the nose.

its primary function is to capture video from the RCA connectors (red/yellow/white) at high quality and stereo sound.. either through PCI or a USB 2.0 connection? it will be for the likes of digitising Camcorders or video cassettes.

anything up to £150 maximum really, but i might be perswaded otherwise if its a glowing "review" of it.

I use one of these for analogue capture (VCR, camcorder):

Has the advantage that it is a TV card too. Drivers in the box are a waste of space, as you get constant lockups (XP/USB2) and very 'laggy' capture. New drivers released a couple of weeks ago seem to have solved all the problems, and I'd definitely recommend it.

Firewire is still best for digi-cam though.
