ASUS have finally recalled their drivers that allowed transparency and wireframe views. These drivers caused quite a ruckus in the online gaming community, prompting an online petition. 14668 people signed the petition prompting ASUS to make their decision. Below is an excerpt from the letter that was sent to the petition`s creator, Jason Rodzik aka DarkReaper of UnrealTournament.org.

"To respect the preferences of the majority of our customers and users around the world, ASUS will disable “see-through” capability in all future Graphics drivers. Although ASUS did not officially release the “see-through” feature in the current 11.01, 12.00 and 12.10 drivers, this Feature-enhancing codes were enabled by non-ASUS programmers and posted on various unauthorized websites."

w00t! :D
