I'm fed up having to be solo most of the time. Got my infil to rr4/2 and decided that solo wasn't for me so stopped playing him. I rvr every night and get a group sometimes but 80% of the time i can't get one. So maybe bomb reavers are not fotm anymore but its the best character i've played in years and don't want to pve yet another one. I keep checking to see what guilds are running in rvr all the time but can't find any that stand out as being "very" active.
If anyone knows of any guilds that can give a rr5/3 ml10 reaver a group every night please let me know and if I like the guild i don't mind taking my turn playing one of my clerics from time to time.

i'm suprised theres not any zerg guilds with so many members that they can always field a guild group, even if it is crap.

not just reavers. havent had a single serious group since i got back. not even with the cleric. its a general lack of leaders taking the initiative to make the groups.

I solo a fair bit of the time but I find that it's fairly easy to get a group if you ask around or if you have a few friend who RvR often. If you're out and you want a group as any of the DoTC people who are out, we don't get a FG very often at all but we usually have a couple.

The Rigante are not a RVR guild, but we usually run a RVR roam group daily, as theres quite a few of us now, it's pretty easy to get one going quickly, as many have access to bb's etc so its quite good:)
Always help do ML's, keep defence/takes and artis:)

www.therigante.co.uk if you fancy it:)
good luck anyway

With the current situation in Alb, the best thing you can do tbh is find a handful of people who want to try to run regularly and stick to a semi set grp but stay in your respective guilds.

That way there's no feeling of guild obligation to run and it tends to be a slightly more relaxed and fun time when you do (or that's how it was for me)

What wisty said, best just finding some people you can have fun with and get rvring with them, being in a rvr guild doesnt matter atm as long as you can play a needed class decently and get along with the players you want to group with. :]

It takes time to earn reputaton and respect in RvR, especially at the lower realm ranks. Everyone above rr6 has gone through this at one time or another. The best thing to do is play the best you possibly can, dont whine alot and as people said, make some friends.

In the groups I have made recently, I can honestly say 50% of the people Ive been RvRing with, I didnt this time last month. Most are just rr5 or rr6, fairly new to rvr, still have stuff to learn ( well that curve never ends :) )

Dont expect miracles in a week, you really need to stick with it for a few months to make yourself known.

good luck !

Hey,

I played to rr7 in random pickup groups, where I tended to be the one picking people up. Usually it would be me, my buffbot, some guildies and we would go out taking towers for dye merchants. Yes, and we did the occasional charity rp raids for Euinar.

Unfortunately towers are razed now whenever we go for them and I'll have to settle with a regular group that never wants to do anything but roam, roam, roam. It's no fun. I've had the same dyes for months!

So stay patient, make some friends, don't be afraid to start your own not-very-opted groups and try to laugh at all the times those evil hibs or mids stop you on your way to world domination.

And don't forget to look good and be fashionable - at the end of the day that's what counts!

I've tired suggesting to Evita and Graendel that the colour we need to run in is pink... After all, it looked soooooooooooo good on Straef <tries to supress the laughter>

I'll get my way one of these days and get a nice bright colour, black and purple is just too dull... How about a nice myriad of all the brightest dyes with a different one on each and every piece of armour?

Then again, maybe not...
