Venomblade?

Hmm... I just played around with the characterbuilder and came up with this:

Stealth 20
Swords 18
Env. 22

Autotrain stealth to 24 for the extrapoints... being able to use Greater Lethal poison. Template looks somewhat interesting to me.

Are there swords usable for left hand in Midgard?
Initial attack with 2 swords/poisons, then use two handed sword to finish the target off.

*shrugs*

Initial attack with 2 hander then 2 swords (well sword/axe as LA doesn't allow you to equip swords in your offhand) is a better bet I think.
Without any critstrike it'll be a pain attacking mages though.

But heck Greater Lethal should whoop their robed bums, shouldn't it?

I nearly had my Warden killed by, what was obviously an Env specced Infiltrator, the other night.

*sniffle*
Me wants to play a poisonous Kobold. :(

Nooo. Shadowzerkers are fearsome in Thidranki. They can melee down casters in no time, and out melee almost all assassins if they get the jump no problems. My infil went through hell with critless SZ in Thidranki, believe me.

Shadowzerker is better than venomblade for Thidranki, just because the greater lethal only hits for 30ish per tick, which isn't much of a return for 22 spec points as a primary attack. But 22 in LA gives you some pretty sweet dmg output....

Well I meant any critical strike, not neccessarily PA, backstab 2 is sufficient to pierce bladeturn, which is all you need.

*stomps foot*
But I don't want a cookie-cutter character, daddy!!
:D

Hmm.. perhaps I should play around with my Nightshade first.
Respec to slash and high envenom (have +4 env and +4 stealth items for him meanwhile *cackles*).

ph34r my Black-Adder(tm) template.

If you can get +5 stealth and envemon items you can go for the following template:

19 steath (+5 = 24)
18 sword
17 envenom (+5 = 22 to give minor enervating and greater lethal)
10 crit strike (for bs2)
11 left axe

Nice template - but I just rolled a char on Mid/Excal - therefore no money, no items (and I aer no beggar;)).

So I guess I will scrap the Venomblade idea for now and concentrate on my keen Keen. I have tons of items and a complete set of DF leather for him.
Twinkmania 2002 :D

But thank you as usual for the good info.
