Okay BJ, so in your opinion, someone rooting in chain succession is the same as someone standing in the wall and wasting attackers?

I have mezzed loads of people, I never pick the same target, however my mezz is AOE, so if I change my target and it happens to AOE mezz someone that I have already mezzed am I cheating?

Sorry mate, doesn't happen like that, the only way you will get hit is if your lag ghost is still hanging about, which if it is, how would I know that it not really you standing in view?

Would you consider minstrel STUN then MEZZ chain? because it is hitting both targets?

archer targets and draws

the target moves behind wall etc or ports into keep

draw time expires and bloke shoots



i assumed it was same with magic as im forever being hit by spells when im out of sight then the spells stop as u cant start the shot if target isnt in view

if its acknowledged as a bug thats being fixed in a later patch then yes id consider it a bug abuse to use it

It's not the same with magic for me at least, I can only draw on visible targets, that are in range and in view, in fact, much of the time I can see targets on my screen, pell fails with "target is not visible" message and they can still hit me(bowman). I should take some screenshots of that, it's bloody irritating.

Chain rooting is not acknowledged as a bug, the timer effect is the bug. You can still chain root in 1.50, but what happens is resist chances gets increased and if you fail resist, it takes half the amount of time for effect to wear off.

and no, minstrels are not nerfed, they are in fact stronger, with the opportunity to drag along a full time pet. I easily solo oranges and sometimes reds with my minstrel in 1.50. TBH, if any class should be nerfed, it should be mini's.

im not saying anyone should be nerfed .. or that chaining is a bug

im saying the timer on a chain root in particular is bugged
therefore anyone who chain roots is exploiting a bug same as ppl who jump in walls

all im saying is this game is full of bugs so why do ppl go mad over ppl who hide in walls and not over the other bug abuse

and no i dont think anyone should hide in a wall

but then i also dont think a caster should be able to paralyze /nuke /nuke / root /nuke /nuke - kill a player giving them no chance to do anything

I don't think the chaining issue is considered as much a bug, rather then something Mythic decided was too powerfull, so they nerfed it. Using the walls however is blatant bug abuse, it pissed me off when some hibs used it and it still pisses me off that some albs have used it.

I find the irony of it all very rich though.

they fixed the timing for mes but the fix for root was bugged so it is a bug

the whole games full of bugs and ppl seem to accept fine all the 'less damaging' bugs fine

maybe its just every1 is useless against ppl hiding in walls as opposed to just certain classes

and there isnt any irony

the ppl that use dit are (from what i gather) majouly pissed off that it was used against them lots, and as there seems to be no worry of punishemnt will use it 'as it was used on them'

and tbh i can easily see their point.

you can say well why spoil every1 elses game just because of a few ... but thats not human nature is it.

No irony really, some Albs appear to have been caught doing it as some Hibbs were b4.

Pisses me off whoever it is.

No pics of Middies doing it so hopefully the don't and won't do it but I'm sure they have their share of cheating gits as well and maybe it's just a matter of time b4 we c pics of middies in walls as well

I agree, rotten tactics, I hope the mids are wise enough not to fall into this trap, I wish there was some form of moral agreement on this server with regards to this kind of cheating. These people should not be defended. If you fall through the walls - GET THE F*CK OUT! if you don't you are a cheat.
