I recommend this interface, I use it. It's a lot tidier than the default, and has some nice additions.

in fairness m8

the basics in Vanguard are quite similiar to DAoC, as in auto attack, styles and reactionaries.

but, i have a question... how is the PVP system, you mentioned about the pvp server, but nothing about pve, can you still kill rl people in pve servers? or is it just a role playing server?

At the moment, there's no PvP on PvE servers AFAIK. There is definatley going to be some form of PvP on PvE servers at a later date though.

If you play a Monk, be warned, they're the most unpolished class at the moment with no utility and not very good dps. I'm still levelling mine in hope they'll get buffed at some point, but we got a nerf on Feb 07 when we clearly didn't need it.

I'm playing it on the US FFA PVP server with some mates at the moment, we're still newbies - but thus far it's fun....

Alot of memories popping up from Everquest, since the classes is almost identical to the EQ classes for the most part - Which isnt a bad thing at all, I loved those classes since it was my first "real" mmo.

If anyone's there feel free to give a shout, ill be playing on Egnarts, Skod or Mintyfresh.

There is an EU faction based PvP server, with 2 "teams" which splits the races in half, but there are no "safe" zones.

Or

Supposedly sometime in the future there will be some form of PvP on the PvE server, most probably Guild v Guild wars or some such thing, but no timescale

I love my monk and find it far from underpowered. Could do with a bit of group utility but I certainly don't find myself begging for groups or anything.

I like mine too but it's fact that they're underpowered, with the recent critnerf the bridges aren't available very often at all and is our main source of DPS, even Rogues which are the joke class of VG at the moment out dps us since the nerf if they use their positionals properly. Plus, no class finds it hard to get a group at the moment

Have you tried PvP yet on your Monk? When it comes to PvP'ing as a Monk, you really mayaswell just go afk. Healers outheal your DPS with ease, other melee classes out DPS you, and casters kite you, there's no way a Monk can win in PvP unless your opponent is really, REALLY stupid.

Disciple are the Melee-DPS/Healer Hybrid, pretty much the same as Monk except they do more DPS and have heals.
