V for Vendetta - is this any good?

Its a brilliant movie.
A well-done metaphor for the whole '9/11 was an inside job', with a peek into the future based on U.S. and Britain's past and present-day progress toward totalitarianism.
Every good story needs a moral, this one: Hopefully there's a V to save society's sheep from themselves (ourselves).

I loved it!

Beautiful movie.

V was a great character and the way he expressed things, both through actions and words, was mastered. I never realised he was Elrond from LOTR, or Agent Smith from Matrix until after the film.

I enjoy deep movies - and V hit all the right buttons.

Can only agree with you.. Top nutch A-class movie! Well worth a 2nd watch too
