Oh wow, you've gone to frickin football matches. Here, you have the privilege of sucking my dick >.>

If i could afford to go to 300 football matches I would too - unfortunately I can not afford it. But that doesn't mean I support my team any less than you do.

BUT YOU HAVE A GIRLFRIEND MATE :(

olol couldn't resist baby! :d

Im sorry to point it out burt Man U only just won at home and Lost Evera in the process. What make you think they will do beter away?

Celtic drew 0-0 with Milan in the San Siro - and you would have to say that Man Utd's squad must contain more talent than Celtic's. Wont they have at least a few defenders back fit for that game?

I don't think so it will still be Neville Vidic Ferdinand and now Evera missing the game so the 1st choice back 4. I think Silvestre is still out as well?

There a very very slight chance that neville will be back, he had a set back (should have been back last weekend) however it will probably be the weekend following the match he returns unfortunately :(

Ferdinand, out till roughly the chelsea match.
Vidic out till at least the FA cup final

So thats the main people that need taking into account :(

Anyways, 1 goal advantage going to San Siro, I think we needed 2 goal advantage to be safe however this gives us a good chance. It was clear that we were an attacking threat and that is going to be what is used. We wont sit back and we will push forward. Cant see us not scoring so as long as we pull a draw off which we have the threat to do then we will win. Dont even think their striker touched the ball the whole match, only threat is Kaka and to be honest the second goal was down to shit defending and Evra trying to drop kick Heinze. Good play by Kaka but Evra if he was actually any good in defending would not have charged in and would have swept up behind Heinze. Basic fullback play not done :(

Infact I will explain it to you, as it seems you cannot understand.

You said that if Milan score at the San Siro, Man U have to score 2 goals. This is not the case because a draw and a win for United would see them through.

You claim to be a big football fan yet you don't even know the rule for a 2 legged game

I fancy United to get a result at the san siro. United are at their most dangerous on the break. As they are away from home, I fully expect Sir Alex to try and soak up pressure and hit them on the break. Milan will miss Gattuso a lot if he doesnt recover in time as Brochhi is no where near the class of Gattuso.

Its times like this however, united miss Keane. If Keane was still playing and in his prime, id put as much money as I owned on united to win at Milan as he would just take their only attacking threat, Kaka, out of the game. A friend of mine has been working in germany for 3 years now, and is a season ticket holder at Bayern Munich. He says that Hargreaves is too good for the german league so would be a welcome addition at man united.

3-2 is not the best result, but its a win none-the-less.

AC Milan have to score at least 1 goal and i think they can do that at the San Siro, however i also think Man Utd can score at least 1 there so its gonna be close!

Good luck for liverpool tonight, would rather them go through over Chelsea

1 thing to remember is how many players we have out at the moment, if any of them are back by next week we will be a far stronger team.

Nice to see lot's of jealousy on here..was the same in the pub last night, when Milan scored the ABU's were loving it.
Soon stfu when Utd came back and won..
Really does make me laugh that people go to the pub on Europe nights wanting Utd to lose.

Missing Vidic, Rio and Nev was always going to prove costly, Sheff Utd, Boro caused us loads of problems at the back. Until these players are back, we just have to try and outscore teams.

blah blah fucking blah im tired not slept in 2 days due to work

tbh i dont give a shit, you have talked a load of shit backed up by united fans that dont live within 50 miles of old trafford

most of you dont have a clue what its like to support a football team through thick and thin....... thin not being 2nd in the premiership with a few hundred million in the bank..... thin being stood outside teams like rochdale, leigh and non league teams in pre season friendlys with a bucket asking for people to save your club that you love and them giving you money and wishing you well...... thats love for your club

what ive seen some people do for thier club, devoted all their spare time and effort to save the club they love and are still doing things for it, for nothing...... thats supporting a club, not watching them on sky.

What a load of wank, Man Utd doesn't have financial difficulty, nor do most of the other premiership teams, but lets all bankrupt them so we can "fly the good flag" and save money for them.

If Rochdale didn't need money, some other whiney person would be flaming you with "you dont understand the true meaning" etc etc.

No use that pent up hatred to reply

i think you would have to be mentally unstable to have that guy as your avatar so i dont think ill be paying attention to you

read again i dont support united so why would i give a shit about there financial status? maybe you would have figured that if you read the thread and not just jump on the band wagon of calling me a prick because my opinion differs from most of the tv-football supporters

I never said you supported united, i hinted at it.

And as for not paying attention, you've obviously paid enough to respond so far.

Brite just fuck off. Youve derailed a perfectly good thread. No one cares that you support some obscure division 2 team that you seem to ram down our throats at every oppurtunity.

Go back to the RvR section and brag about how you have "skills" at a computer game. You are more suited over there

Firstly. Brite vs the world! Can everyone involved in that now let it go and try keep this on target for an actual discussion. If you want an arguement then make a fresh thread. Admittedly I made a comment to him also but lets try to all leave it there now.

Now for the post!!
Ok, the morning has passed and Im on my lunch. So time for my afternoon post match input.

The match panned out much like I thought it would. Anyone with any sense knew that Kaka could walk through our current defence, and infact I think we done well just to limit the amount of chances. However Man Utd were lucky. Yes, a Man Utd fan admits there was luck involved.

Maldini was a loss for Milan, and then to lose Gattuso was a massive blow. From the moment he went off we absolutely owned the midfield and that proved important. If they hadn't lost Gattuso I reckon that we would only have managed a draw and been under alot more pressure.

As predicted though, we had to rely on attack and not defence in the game due to how stretched we are at the back. Luckily that is Utd's strength as shown. Giggs and Scholes were inspirational in their part in the goals. Scholes pulled off a pass most can only dream off, and Giggs put an amazine tackle and break, topped of by a pinpoint accruate pass, yes it was simple pass but how often do top class players mess it up with either wrong angle or strength? Often is the answer.

Milan were strong, however they really only threatened through Kaka, if he can be taken out the game (no i dont mean break his leg, marked out) then they have to rely on Seedorf, whom I dont think will give them the edge they need to win.

Treatment of Referee, this is the same no matter where a match is. The home team will have a go at the ref if he doesnt give them decisions. Personnaly I think there could have been a couple more yellow cards towards teh milan players (and in turn that would lead to utd players as it would had roll on affect) and i think this annoyed some fans. However I think the ref done well with trying to limit the cards. Though I wouldnt have booked Giggs, Kaka was being a tosser and his actions deserved a booking as pure the rules of the game, however this rule never enforced so that is a referee problem. Mind you, at times utd can be the same. Watch Ronaldo reaction to fouls. He wont motion for a booking, however the way his arms swing wide open and his look at the ref (all after the foul given) show he wants them booked.

Second leg. Utd can not go there just to soak up the pressure, we can not afford to as we havent got the players at the back to put up with that for 90minutes, that means we will focus on pushing forward mainly, however it will be a 5 man midfield to try and dominate that area of the field. Do that and we are through. If we dont it be a struggle.

Gattuso injury. Im not sure how long he be out for, but they will badly miss him if he doesnt play.
Ferdinand Injury. We do not want to rush him back, rather make sure he fully fit for the City game then rush him back and make the injury worse again like we just did.

Sorry, long post as always. Cutting it here even though much more can assess on the game. See you all laters :)

Cant beleive no one has said this yet, Man U did a Chelsea!
As much as I hate chelsea, I really hope they go through, because, if they get to the final, and so do we, then they have got as much on their schedule to play, as we do. So doubtfully they will play there first team in the fa cup final, as we probably wont to. Therefor giving us a chance to win that to.

You mong, Chelsea have scored as many last minute winners as Utd now.

You can't argue with the statistics :p
