Feel like a bit of a numpty but which file should I delete to get game NOT to launch in windowed mode? (can't get to settings button at bottom of screen, doh!)

dunno which file but if u change your screen resolution you might see the button, it worked for me in other games, try several screen resolution modes (desktop)

Yeah - tried that - it's a wee notebook so the range of resolutions isn't great but any of them I tried had no effect...

Hmm I can't help u there then unless u try to swap off that option from another computer and u copy files from that computer to yours, maybe?

open user.dat with notepad... you'll find the file somewhere around E:\Documents and Settings\Administratör\Application Data\Electronic Arts\Dark Age of Camelot\LotM there

Then you'll see something like this:
