I have a usb pen drive and i need some 3rd party encryption software for it, i need it to be free and not time expired adn let me encrypt 128 meg of data, asking alot i know as i have found jack on the net that does what i want for free.

I suggest openssl - it'll do everything you need.

There's a number of routes to getting it: download it and compile natively; get it as a Cygwin package, or you could try this win32 pre-compile. I've never used this last one, so I've no idea of its quality - looks ok at first inspection tho'.

To encrypt with AES-256, the commands are:

openssl enc -aes256 -in <plaintext> -out <ciphertext>
openssl enc -d -aes256 -in <ciphertext> -out <plaintext>

The first encrypts the file, the second decrypts it.
