Storage USB Drive recovery software

I have a USB drive that my PC can see, it can see the file structure, but refuses to copy from the drive, saying it is corrupt. I am looking for some free software, or at least 1 time small cost, that doesn't look dodgy AF or suggest it's free until after you have left it scanning for 10 hours, where it asks for a subscription...

Any suggestions please?
