Id really like to know just how pro-active goa are when it comes to monitoring and catching cheaters.... I would guess that they do very little and most cheat allegations are deleted/ignored without investigation...

Well if you send them a RightNow they'll investigate it... there are ways of finding cheaters you know... but they don't hover around RvR 24 hours a day trying to find people doing naughty things (at least I doubt it )

And 'Dagalush' , I have never used Daox and Im sure there are a LOT of others out there that haven't either. Just because a cheat becomes popular does not make it right. Many, many people use it though, also probably most peole that I know in Daoc. Still that doesn't make it right. Anyway, you can't go around justifying to yourself, that it is ok for you to use it as some (or even 'all' as you put it) others use it too.

I don't use DAOx either. I don't think its cheating, but I don't use it cause I have no reason to when I have daoc running thats all I need daoc ;p

The reason behind DAoX being banned, and Windows and the like.. given from the big daddys at Mythic, was that it let friends cross-realm and therefore destroys the 'no contact out of realm' idea that occurs in DAoC. As for the other stuff.. may people are banned daily cos of hacks etc. and yes, there are ways of finding people (Anyone ever seen a Luri in the floor ? )

Daox is mentioned as a cheat in the CoC & EULA, but Mythic int. would have half .. or less people back playing their game, if it wasn't for daox.

Mythic/Goa wont ban / search for you, if using daox, never never never... they don't want to loose a custimor, if u aren't bothering others.
