sorry for being noobisssshhh!!

I think my problem refers to this. I went on to have a bash on Daoc earlier on. Went to get a cup of coffee and came back to see my puter download some patch. Once it had completed it wouldnt log in. Keeps coming up with invalid user account.

Can anyone help me on this one. What should i do?

You have patched to the US game and cannot play anymore.

You should repatch to the European Daoc. Change the update.dat file in the SI folder to

If it doesn't work, I once got it back running by copying update.dat, patch.bin nd patch.dat from my backup folders to SI folder. If repatching doesn't work, say bye to your Shrouded Isles Folder and install the game again.

(To avoid having to download 70MB patches when something happens, I have a copy of my daoc folders on a second harddisk and got them burned on a CD too. That way only thing that I will need to redo are my quickbars and such.

delete the quickbar .ini files out of the backup folder and you wont have to
