US servers?

Can I patch to the USA servers using the game keys I have on my European account or do I have to buy a US keyed version? I'm getting a bit tired of this nonsense and cancled my European subs.

The GoA (EURO) keys only allow you to play on the EURO servers (just like the Mythic (USA) keys only allow you to play on the USA servers)

So you will need to pay for all the expansions again (currently $29 for them all)

Copied from our guild forums :-

simple enough realy, go into you camelot dir and open the update.dat file with notepad

delete everything and replace the text with

Mythic Patch
patch.daoc.net:1280/updates/********/mpatch.dat
patch.daoc.net:1280/updates/********/mpatch.dat

replace the *'s with

trials - ToA
catacombs - for catacombs
darkness - for darkness rising

remeber it will ask you to active the expansion aswell if you dont already have it on the US account. You also cant rollback the patch's, eg cant make your DR game install into catacombs game install.

Just dont assume all is roses on the USA servers, it isnt still getting around a 1sec lag on any button pushes.

The 14 day trial goes up to cata client or toa client ?

As i dont wanna waste 10h updating Cata to suddenly find it only goes up to toa client

100+mb @ 3kb/ps is teh rox tbh

You can use the cata client to log on and play, you just won't have access to the cata content (warlocks, TD's) on that account until you pay for it.

Ahh ... not too bad so ... as the toa update is 2x the size of the cata one lol
