Is there is someone else than me who are unhappy with the current state of the English cluster and NF in general?

The population on all three realms have dropped alot. Since players tend to relog to the realm which is most in favour at the moment. It might be relics, it might be insta port. The conclusion of this leads to further issues when it comes to amount of active players in a realm versus another AKA realm balance.

This have always been an issue in the game. But it got far more obvious with the realease of New Fronteirs. Before you could have relics swapping hands three times a week. What the game is turned into now is just shite. None wants to spend 8 hours sieging through 3-4 keeps to even get near relics. Despite the small changes with heavytanks reciveing climbwalls the siege these days is just about outnumbering people.

We could always hope to see a merge of English EU servers with the US ones. But somehow I just can't see this happening. All that possibly remains to dream about is a "Even Newer Fronteirs" where we would see a tweaked version of the old fronteirs returned to us.

I'm looking for people who would consider buying a US account and move there and possibly form a guild. Hence the poll option. If you don't have any genuine intrest in doing any of the above, please chose option three.

From what I know there are much more advantages on the US servers. Latest patches, a real testserver, events, ingame support and more importantly less french and german players! And most important, more players.

Honestly I'll take cheating bastards ahead of realm balance any day. I rather have the hopes about winning than to just get pissed off and log.

I have 50s on all clusters in US, in all realms, and I can tell you one thing, RVR there is no better than here, in some ways its far worse. The zerging going on over there is pretty much insane and they are also specialists at camping bridges etc. Also RVR doesnt really pick up there until after midnight here which blows abit aswell.

Bridgecamp to rr11 isnt uncommon there, should also warn you that the abusing going on in US is 1000 times worse than over here, lagstrafers, chatwindowjumps, spiralers, teleporters, wallhackers, whatever, pretty much every single active RVRer over there use every abuse they can find, and its quite a few around too...

EU > US when it comes to quality of RvR, from my own experience anyways. Only thing that buggers me is that EU is heading same shitroad as US is, nothing but zerglings and muppets around > DAoC die slowly, every day.

Clearly there are issues with both continents then. Honestly I just want to enjoy the game. I'm fed up with running solo and all that fair fights crap. The only thing that remains then is the chance to have some fun rvr with some mates.

Which is impossible to do due to everyone running gankgroups.

What remains is to zerg. Something which mid currently lacks the abillity to do because of above mentioned reasons.


What would fix the game alot would be a remake of fronteirs again.


And I rather play US PvE server than anything else atm tbh.

I rolled a group there about this time last year, all from euro servers. Took about 2 weeks to get everyone kitted out, and i had the best RvR in my daoc career ever, and then christmas came. It went dead, and i quit US. But i opened my account a few days ago and wow its decent rvr. In 25 mins i had a group and 19k rps in the bag.

It's worth a try just for the fun tbh, and good luck with doing so if you choose to.

Too much effort required to get everything sorted before you're ready for RvR on an entirely new server. You'd also have the major disadvantage of not playing primetime, so your playing hours would be with a smaller population than during US peak time.

Why not try and form a regular battlegroup to try and get some RvR going on the cluster?

And I doubt its possible to get deent RvR when your outnumbered 5-1 most of the time. Also something I'm extremly tired of are all these extend groups. Shike seen alot of those on US? If not that is a reason alone to go there tbh.

Atm I only have a 50 warlock on Lance. But I'm willing to reroll anywhere to anything tbh.

If your interested in a move to the US servers you should consider Gareth classic server, on Albion. Theres quite a few EU players rolled there nowadays, such as alme, divinia and the old ithil galad crew who play in a guild called Inbreed, and also on alb is a guild called European Legacy ran by a load of danish people with mixed nationalities, again some old eu players are playing in that guild.

Hmm, perhaps it would be an idea to do a realm poll for US as well? With the amount of interest we could easily build a 2 full groups. Or even more, I doubt its hard to get started with that much people. Could even do daily dragonraids.

they are still in treatment for chronic insomnia.

some lost their job after attending a raid too many (and a no-show too many on the job)

timezones are the reason to play europe really.
