Dear Barry,

My attention has recently been drawn to the fact that SV_UNLAG has been set to "1" on all of your Counterstrike servers. Please set it back to "0", as I and those I represent much prefer it that way.

Its never been 0 on the BW servers. Jolt are the only people I know that use 0.

sv_unlag 1
This turns on or off the netcode, leave it set to 1 unless your on a fast lan network connection.

Yes, but they had it set to 0 before then anyway.

My point is unlag is set to 1 and always has been.

Rather amusingly, chetan is his real name, as I gather. I only came here because SL mentioned you harassing Barry. I don't actually understand any of whats going on.

(Why is it you can only type well [without spasms of capslock] on forums? you always seem to have such trouble on IRC)

Barrysworld has NEVER been sv_unlag 0

It has ALWAYS been sv_unlag 1

Jolt are the only provider that ever used and still use sv_unlag 0

Jolt servers are notorious for "disappearing bullets"

sv_unlag 0 is the reason.

Try hitting a moving target with sv_unlag 0.
Bullets will go straight through them half the time.

Now try it on a BW server...

Youll hit.

sv_unlag 0 is fucking stupid.
The sooner Jolt put it to 1 the better.

End of debate :)
