Unknown DF messages for me

Well today i decided to take myself to DF for a change.

Was Exping in the rocot room when i began to recieve peculiar messages, nothing like i have recieved before. The following gives an example of the messages i got.

'Helloooo, we have souls to steal'

'Move it'

'I know imps who can steal more souls than this'

'Mildrhiod! You're falling behind in your quota'

Messages came at irregular intervals and in random order (with the Mildrhiod message coming least regular)

The messages where in the colour of a /broadcast, however did not have a name to display who broadcast etc.

other peeps who later joined me where silverlight and pointing, who also on entering the room recieved the same messages and where just as puzzled.

Anyone care to explain? it was a new one on all of us 3?

i was in room 2 hours collecting for my af102 before 1st message popped


Any knowledge on what it was would be appreciated

Them broad msg's have been there for ages.. its just some background atmosphere .. to do with the history behind DF.. i.e the imps stealing seals etc..

who or what is Mildrhiod?

taking a guess. it must be the name of an imp. although i dont recall him being any of the merchant imps..

There s a boss imp, that floats around DF cracking his whip on the little slave imps. Every once in a while you'll see him and kill him, and he drops something, not seals, last time I think he droped boots, tho I really can't remember. I used to see the boss a lot when I played on alb, he hangs around that area more I think, have only seen him once sine I was playing Hib and that was 2 nights ago, with some other AK peeps.

It's the Director Kobil.

He roams around the diamond mobs talking to some of them, but as some of the rooms are above one another, you're sometimes near enough to him to hear what he says.

Kobil I think he drops a necklace or something with dex/qui on it and was orange con to high 40s maybe to a 50.

it is kobil, but hes invisible and taunting you , if you have the ability to find an invisible mob ( like truesight , etc ,) you can find and kill him , i got a kobils fiery seal from him , not bad but not uber

Not always stealthed. I've seen him many times with my Sorc, and lst time I checked she had no stealth seeing abilities. Have seen him with my bard as well, and again, no stealth seeing abilities. I mean I know I'm damn uber and all, but I doubt I can see thru stealth!

Kobil ive seen and killed (yellow con to 50 ive seen him), but reference was made to a mob called Mildrhiod.
