On not answering your question - I kind of did. You originally narrowed down my point to a single issue - abortion. You've never substantively addressed the whole thrust of the issue, and you're whatabouting the "MAGA lot". I mean, I get it's a change, but think of it this way:

Thatcher got rid of all the manufacturing in the UK. We then inflated housing to "create wealth" - which is pretty much a ponzi scheme. The loss of manufacturing jobs devestated swathes of the UK (like Detroit in the US when it lost the car manufacturing) - and they've never recovered. And are largely now leaning towards Farage / Reform and voted Brexit.

Companies will be falling over themselves to spin up factories in the US. The rest of us will lose out, but if he holds his course the US could do very nicely out of this.

China will be fine too. It'll just focus it's economy inwards.

Companies are not falling over themselves to set up factories in the US. There are some companies that had already committed to building factories there through incentives involved with the IRA, not mainly because the Tango tosser can't understand world trade and keeps changing his mind on tariffs.
