Lmao.

The French love it when you make an effort, what they don't like is little Englanders coming over getting stupidly drunk and trashing places.

I went on holiday every year to France as a kid, the type of stuff that you describe rarely happened, it was the middle class Dutch who were usually the up-tight arseholes, the French tended to be lovely.

But obviously that doesn't fit into your Napoleonic 4th Reich idea.

I think I'll let @caLLous take over here.
Of course the French were wrong making the website because you went there and it was the Dutch.

I mean really..my post was that I personally take French complaining about civility as hypocritical.
They are fucking miserable and smile through gritted teeth when presented with the English celebrating liberation
But I also admire their conviction...fuck you...and yes fuck you too.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

So you're actually saying that it's okay for Trump to be a dick because the French are dicks?

I mean, what wouldn't you do to suck his dick?

@Job's a bit thick - he saw pictures of flags and missed the word "nationalité" right next to them (which is there on desktop and mobile) and now won't own up to it.

It's piss funny that her lawyer has basically said she didn't know the rules, after this exact scenario was one of the pillars of Trump's election campaign.

It really is quite amazing how bad US politics is, I don't see much change in it at the present time either.

Except this isn't how it has always been. Hopefully congress will impose some sanction on MBS anyway despite what the pointless president says.

The statement itself is horrific though. Despite the CIA having recordings of the event and from Saudi operatives phoning home Trump still ignores the assessment of the CIA, whose job to assess this for him it actually is, and says sagely: “maybe he did and maybe he didn’t!” Good use of the exclamation mark. Adds that extra 'presidentiality' to his official statement of "whatever".

And he casually repeats the Saudis' slurs against the journalist because why not. And repeats his ever expanding lie about the amount Saudis will spend on US arms as justification for his "whatever".

Not worthy of the office. Not any office.

Not superficially no.

Obama was no different behind the scenes...rebuilt the wall, did fuck all for black americans, droned the fuck out of the ME.

But people like smooth talk..they gave him the Nobel peace prize before he'd started ffs.

I just prefer my bullshit in full view.

Obama, Obama, Obama. Is that the best defence you've got? I've said before I thought Obama was weak on this sort of stuff. John McCain would have been a lot stronger. What Obama wasn't though was a fucking disgraceful excuse for a human being without a good bone in his body.

It's the fact that @Job supports him because of this logic: "I like trump because he's transparent about being a thief, a liar and not giving a shit about murder".

Basically, that's job saying "I'm a cunt".

I just find it amazing that in the last 2 years or so, this 'Liberalism' has been created, and apparently it doesn't matter what replaces it, but so long as something does, because it's the worse ideological approach to politics IN THE WORLD, EVER!

The world is full of three types of people.

The ones making the invisible coat

The ones who can see it

And the ones who say 'what fucking coat'.

You keep spouting this deeply philosophical rambling, but again...

You criticise 'Liberalism' but from what Donald Trump/Brexit is offering (and which you seem to support) is a strong nationalistic identity and that we have to fall in line and follow that set culture and those set values. But you criticise Liberalism for being controlling and restrictive, I really really fail to understand how you believe that you're engaging in free thought by regurgitating what other Populist figures are saying.

For the record though, I completely agree, we should dismantle the current system of democracy/capitalism and rebuild it so that the people come first, not business (like the current system) or the state/nationality (which I am led to believe that you want). I don't think Brexit/Trump is a vehicle to achieving greater freedoms.

The emporers new clothes, the greatest fable of all time.
It sums up everything we are in a perfect nutshell.

I criticise liberalism because it is the people who can see the coat.

It is not a fix for anything, it just leads to disaster, it tries to promote fairness, but is the very opposite of it.
