Ruud sold for 12m, Carrick/Evra/Vidic signed for 20m here and there, so roughly say 10m is hardly much spent.
Carrick alone was 15, could raise to 18.5
Evra/Vidic about 6 each afaik.

So we spent 9m, wow
And Carrick could raise to 18m if we win CL etc.
Spurs/Newcastle spent more than that on 1 player.
liverpool dont need to spend 999999 million pounds each window so we buy players then we teach them... Krisztian Nemeth and Andras Simon. pwnt![]()
£100 million over the last 4 years on dogshit. Thats what Liverpool have spent
It was a bit strange what happened iirc. Originally he wanted to play for Chelsea, then United scooped him from under Chelsea's nose, then Chelsea rescooped him from Utd, but had to pay something like £5m for doing so![]()
with these latest signing i can see the great god squad of the 90's comeing back.... hopefuly anyway, although £18m for hargreeves was a waste imo.

Anderson.
And Nani is just MEAN. I'm impressed, deeply impressed!
Neither had Veron, or Shevchenko, or Morientes, or Baptista?

Or Cantona, or Zola, or Bergkamp, or Pires, or Henry, or Van Nistelrooy, or Drogba, or McCarthy, or Berbatov and the list just goes on and on. Your point is?

My point is that not all players who have such hype can live up to it in the premiership.
Some can yes, but some can't. It looks like Anderson/Nani aren't that physically imposing and might struggle with the nature of the premiership (although i might be wrong).

Anderson is quite strong actually. You can easily see it, the way he dribles. Nani relies more on speed though, so I cant see him do any good.
Explain Ryan Giggs? Very slim, not strong but blindingly fast in his younger days. The greatest left winger in the modern history of English football.
oi, it's just the way he plays I guess. Try watching a match with Nani, and you'll notice he's playing very differently.
