Q: hi m8 im sure your very happy about the interest in your bike but i dnt mean to upset you but im a honda engineer and by looking at the picture everything on the bike apart from the homemade frame is from a honda c90 so the man who valued it in the first place was very true between 200-300£.... so if anyone offers you over that i would recomend you bite there arm off.... good luck in your sale... many thanx.... 28-Jun-09

Q: I heard rumours that this was on ebay and its true. I live quite far away and have no real way of getting it back other than riding it. If I go through the hassle of sorting out a MOT and road register the bike, that is of course if I am lucky enough to beat the tough competition this bike has quite rightly attracted. Q: Not being funny mate but are you sure you want to sell this bike? I know you've said you're not really into bikes but as you can see from all the interest you've had, this bike is very rare (and potentially worth quite a bit). It might be worth your while getting the bike looked at by an independant motorcycle auctioner (these can easily be found on the internet), I don't think you'll be disappointed. However I'll certainly be keeping an eye on this here on ebay and would like to get a few bids later on in the auction, hopefully it'll stay within my budget!Good luck mate! 26-Jun-09

Q: How strong would you say the frame is, as i'm looking for a bike to compete in this years Dakar rally and you mention that it's an off road bike. I've got a box of power bands for that exact engine so reliability won't be an issue. Do you know if the forks are fitted with the star fangled flugle washers like the factory fitted units. 26-Jun-09

Q: Hi there correct me if I'm wrong please but your bike looks very similar to my own bike, I believe this bike is not just a handmade 'special' but possibly a prototype built by Aprillia as a forerunner for the SXV range, it has the same styling but with a smaller engine. if I were you I would definitely consider racing it... good luck, King Karl 26-Jun-09

Q: Oh my god. I can't actually believe what I am seeing... This bike (or one of the 199 like it) used to belong to my father who raced it back in the days when brands hatch was a dirt track that was raced in reverse. If you remove the knobbly bump stick from the top end of the engine and it has the number "47" stamped on the end of it, then you have a very valuable part of motorcycle history there, that I would personally be very interested in bringing back in to my family - if you get me your email address I can forward you some pictures of my old man his championship winning race in 1954. Got some highchair wheelie photos somewhere too... amazing bike and SO good off road. 25-Jun-09

Q: Hi, I'm rather interested in this bike. I run custom drag bikes at Santa pod, now obviously I'd need to add a NOS system and a wheelie bar to the bike to achieve it's full potential. I'm aware that you don't know about bikes, but I need to know it's current time for a standing 1/4 mile before I can bid. Perhaps you could take it down the road and get your missus to time you.
