Unbalanced game

Got to get this off my chest.
Its kinda pathatic mythic really seems to listen to whiners.
Why i the hell DF needs nerfing are they simply forgetting all stuns, mezz, insta mezz that can be casted slam from shield users.

Then when ToA comes stealth will be pritty useless as it is allready for a other Mythic screwup

WHEN DOES MYTHIC GET IT TROUGH THERE MINDS ITS BETTER TO GIVE THEN STRIPPED AWAY

The proper action on a new abbility should be dont make them too damm uber
Why 1500 range on a device with 1hp can cast more then 1 and stealthers for ALL to see.
Now this abbillity is bound to be nerfed mark my words.
I want to call out to mythic do something for players wont put up with this much longer.

but nol every love giving is also a nerf to someone else. The PN can be seen as love as it is an increase of utility for the convoker casters.
Besides you cant keep giving love to everyone as that would make everyone more powerful all the time.

Yep we shouldn't nerf anyone.

Instead whenever any one ability is over done, we should instead power up 38 other classes and several thousand NPCs simultaneously by the exact amount that the first class was overpowered.

I am explaining why it's easier for mythic to nerf 1 class then it is to give love to the 5 others to try and balance them. Think of the man hours involved in bringing all hybrid classes on par with the savage(cough), as opposed to just sticking a spanner in it's guts and ripping the uber out of it...capish?

He's got a point - bring everything else up to savage level will completely screw the game - spell lines'll need buffing' defensive abilities - not to mention the PvE implications.

Some nerfs are justified (LA was - sorry Sbs for whom this is a sore point, Smite was at the time, but in the post SC & RA world it wouldn't be - can't really comment on fcous shield levelling).

Well Pin, I agree that all stealthers are overpowered, even sbs in some situations(especially versus mages, miised pa should be a insta kill for the mage me thinks, but if I have purge up all are doomed...if they aint lifetappers), and I also want the stealth popluation to be brought back in line, but you cant honestly say that Presience Node(in its current state) is a good solution, talk about complete overnerf(as usual).

Range 500 feels ok, range 1500 is fubar.
Recast time 5 min, lol, recast time should be equal to duration so you cant start to spam them. So if dur is 15m the recast should be 15. Duration 15 minutes ? way to long, 5 min would have been ok. a MA 2 ability? nah, way to low, MA 7-8 would have been more apropriate. And it should draw 25-33% mana at least.
This, would have been ok.

What Mytix try to do here is to bring the population back in line with a MA(and they promised that mas shouldnt have big impact on rvr), that cant be good business. Its like when they tried to balance classes with ra, its doomed to fail.

All classes should have been balanced BEFORE ras.
All ras should have been balanced BEFORE mas.

example; take assassins, the 3 different type of assassins should be balanced whitout ras. A sb/ns cant compete on equal basis whitout purge, in high rr, ns cant compete whitout ap. So what happen? infils are good from start, sbs suck til they get purge, ns suck until they get ap 2, shouldt it be like that? nah

Take cc, Mytic sees that cc is way to overpowered. they implement purge and deter, ras to rebalance = shit, especially a ra that every class aint granted.

Nah, Mytix is out on a quest for more money, not to satisifie customers, this game should have been called Dark age of reroll alot, coz thats what its all about.

Its prolly a market strategy; to get people to reroll, and reroll in all eternity. Thats why they destroy popular classes, and bring in new completely overpowered ones from time to time.

Taste on this one; if you had a onlinegame you cared about and you were about to introduce a new class, would you;

1. be careful, and hold back dmg-output + defense a bit, so they could test the class more, both in pve and rvr, coz you will never know what impact a new class/new abilities have before it goes live, and then, if the class is still a bit lower than the normal classes tweak them a little bit.

2. Or just give that class absurd power, like savages, bonedancers, reavers, and then, when many people have rerolled, slowly nerf it to the ground, coz this is what Mytix do. But what happend when they introduce the savage for example?
1. All other tanks in Midgard became unpopular to have in groups, so all other tanks are irritated, coz they have to reroll or quit.
2. All people that get killed by savages get irritated.
3. All people that play savages get irritated(when then erfs starts to hit in).

I like this one; hm, well, zerks are way to powerful, lets nerf them. So zerks get nerfed. But at same time the introduce another light tank that are even worse than the pre 1.62 zerks.

Its all about the money for mytix, the rerolling business.

They release abilites, ras, mas, classes, races, you name it whitout even finishing the first one.

How hard can it be to take 2 gm.-accounts, create a infil and a sb, give them equal rr, equipment and then try it for a hour or 2?
It always the same bullshit, we dont got time to test everything as we would want to. Dont got time? hire more people, you have a multimilliondollarbusiness, they can afford it whitout hesitation.

And its also obvious that they dont give a dman about tTL:s feedback. They have got plenty of good feedback from all TL:s but they dont give a shit.

Did this game become better whit ras? nah, will it get better with mas? nah, the inbalance will be even worser.

The tragic fact is that daoc have never been balanced, and it will never be balanced, but we are not more than humans, we keep on playing/hoping that the balance will be there sooner or later. But for every patch that goal seem to fall futher and futher behind.

some says, well the rvr-expansion will prolly rebalance many issues, I say; lol

depends as mythic has given love to every class that has convoker by introducing the PN. It is easier to nerf one aspect then to give love to more than one aspect, but that doesnt mean you are nerfing one class or giving love to one aspect.
