Ulysses - Opinions

Hello, I just recently finished reading it, I think that some parts of it were really great... however there were some parts that I found boring a bit. Like the last chapter, imo Joyce went a bit over the top there. And the main problem is that without the explanations and notes to each chapter in the end of the book its really hard to understand it sometimes.

I think its a really great book, however not the best novel of all times , I still think that War & Peace is better

Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man (also by James Joyce) is fantastic
