Sounds both fantastic and revolting at the same time.

wrong, because it is obviously parmo. and firebox need a new legal advisor

Surely the label description is wrong (or illegal?). Or perhaps I'm wrong, however as I understand it, under Trades Descriptions, a food that says '... flavour' need not actually contain the food referred to, simply taste like it. However '... flavoured'means that it must contain the food referred to. Yet you say Baconnaise does not contain any bacon. Would you check and comment?

Firebox says: The 'flavour/flavoured' issue you speak of Brian, is only a legal requirement with Cocoa (and chocolate products). UK Food Labelling Regulations 1996 has no provision for this use.

how very wrong:(

Pfft, Spam beats bacon anytime.

I love bacon, but the first time I tried spam, I was hooked.

Now i only eat bacon if we have no spam!

In my defence, there is only one link and that is named Baconnaise, which I've already seen, so no need to click it. Just posted some similar things I knew about.

Ungrateful ***** :D

In Norway you can get baconost which is like primula cheese with lumps of bacon in.

This fact is vaguely relevant.

Believe it or not, Baconnaise is suitable for vegetarians, especially all you pretend ones who secretly crave the unmistakable taste of shredded piggy flesh without the bacon guilt. It’s also kosher. How come? Well despite its incredibly realistic taste, it doesn’t actually contain any bacon

That's just wrong, it's clearly just a bacon wannabe.

I get the feeling that pig spunk would taste more like bacon mayonasise than this stuff, it doesn't even have bacon or bacon fat in it for fucks sake! :(

My baconnaise arrived this morning and I put some on a chicken salad. It tastes more like smokey bacon flavour crisps than actual bacon but it's not bad and is pretty strong. Everyone in the office either thinks it's the best idea ever or the most disgusting thing they've ever heard of.
