Ulrika has said she was raped by a TV presenter but never said who it was. Then someone on "The Wright Stuff" named the "alleged" person by mistake.

I think the issue is everyone "knows" who it is, but making an allegation of rape is not to be taken lightly. Rape is a very serious crime and involves physical violence or the threat of it, by suggesting someone is a rapist without actually going to the police is banal.

Somehow I don't see this guy getting a fair trial, if he is guilty then he might get away with it, if he's innocent then he wont be able to sue because "nobody mentioned him".

It's not like Ulrika is a perfect angel, she's not exactly got a good record in selecting sexual partners who treat her well.

Its all bullshit, Ulrika is just plumbing the depths for publicity, her career was fizzling out so she "brought to light" all these amazing allegations. Its amazing that the time she chose to come out with them is when she can sell her book on them.

John Leslie was a womaniser, but theres a huge difference between that and a rapist.

The wright stuff found out because a few people 'in celebrity circles' began whispering it was him. It was prolly something to do with the fact that he 'had a fling' with her around that time and she don't speak to him anymore. Ulrika refused to say anything due to the fact that she said that it was over and done with and she couldn't do anything about it now. She also maintained she has never given any information that could link leslie with the allegations. so basically because a few celebrities came to the conclusion based on rather sketchy circumstantial 'evidence'.

This sort of thing annoys me and is why I refuse to buy tabloids(my parents buy the fucking mail which is just laughable sometimes, when I can be arsed read the thing) I don't need to know this stuff and its not really that interesting. If she did get raped then I really do have sympathy but there are better ways to deal with the pain than this. She gets money out of it, which is kinda sad if thats the only reason for doing it. The papers(all of them) are guilty of feeding these people sense of importance, they feed their ego's just to smack them down when one tosser editor or another decides he/she is bored of him/her. What is the point of celebrity I sure as hell don't need to be told x is shaggin y on a daily basis.
