I was remarking on the way he was doing it, not the fact he shouldn't express himself.

A few facts in the middle of the accusations, speculations and insults:

1) We had asked about possible non-standard issues before accepting the invitation to UKTL. Admin's answer did not say anything about the possibility of them considering something - in our eyes - as ludicrous as ScaryBay2.

2) No, we certainly didn't want to play that map, especially in the very game which was our greatest reason for accepting the invitation, the game against cF.

3) Once the map list was published, I wrote to the admin, telling him that a) this was not covered in point 1 and b) the map is horrendous, a given 0-0.
- His reply: a) the maps hadn't been decided when asked and b) the map choice stands.

4) We didn't accept the excuse; like previously stated, we had specifically asked about "any non-standard issues we should be aware of", and ScaryBay2 certainly was that. In the UKTL mailing list I asked "Why have inofficial maps at all when we do have Open Call and Balanced maps?" and on this forum I started this thread. Didn't help.

5) Thus we leave. I write a mail to the UKTL mailing list explaining our reasons: the admin's negligence to state the facts, his incredibly poor judgement and Alco's comments. (Alco apologized later.)

That's it. That was all we said. After that (not that it surprised us) you guys have been running the show. Against MnO, supporting MnO, against the admins, supporting the admins - all this indicates that it is you who cannot agree, and has relatively little to do with MnO. After all, once we left, the vast majority of the posts in this thread have been by UK players.

So no, the fuss created here is mostly yours, not ours.

Why can't people except the fact that this whole issue works both ways. Yes we should thank the admins for spending their time to run the league but you also have to thank the players and the Tribes involved for making the effort to play in the league and making it enjoyable. If people are to give up an hour of their time then we shouldn't be wasting people's time on defunct/flawed maps.

I find it hard to value Mad's opinions on MnO when he doesn't even know where they come from, lol.

When I pointed this out to him he seemed to get quite upset and got rather personal because I chose to stick up for MnO, who imo have done nothing wrong.

Fusion decided to send me annoying emails and I ignored him - fine Fusion, post crap on here instead, looks like you're in good company anyway. Also, looking at your post on the previous page - "Don't turn what could be the best match in the league into a farce" - Fusion, you have got your head so far up your own ass it must hurt.

The UKTL is going on - Mno are out. Find something else to do guys it's oooover.

One more thing - look at Shame's comments at the top of the page. For idiots who use the word Xenophobia without knowing what it means - read that post.

For those interested in what happened between me and Mad I emailed him to inform him that MnO were not from Germany.

He got rather upset and said 'I don't give a fuck about them' anyway and I replied

'Well you obviously do care about them because you've written your last 2 column updates on them'

He then sent me a load of pathetic insults, I obviously hit a nerve.

I know certain ppl have *tried* to make this fair for everyone, but it definitely sounds like team ENG got shafted in this tribes world thing...As much as I would have luved to have seen you guys murder USE, you put on one hellova show...good job.

As far as former ENG teams etc getting changed...I don't know much about that but if it is how some of you say it is; I'm ashamed of this world league and the people who oversee it. As far as I'm concerned, there should be more overall organizers like Jekill...Europe should have their own organizers. If the Americans can't trust the Europeans to conduct recruiting etc fairly then there is no point in having a 'global' tournement of this kind...

I'm sure Jekill's motives where right for splitting up Britain into different nations etc, but it was a bad decision on his part and I hope future tournements will see this fixed. I mean, for goodness sakes...Britain as a whole could fit into California!! add to that fact that there are far less British players than American, it makes no sense to split the whole island up...in that way of thinking, Jekill should have split America into seperate states (California, Texas etc) instead of USE and USW...of course that would be as dumb as splitting Britain up.

I don't mean to sound as though I'm slagging Jekill...I'm sure hes put a lot of work into this whole thing, but hopefully these mistakes will be rectified in the event there is another world tourney.

Stigma, it was no-ones idea to split up the British Isles except our own.
It would be very, very silly to take this TWC too seriously, and two teams means double the fun, which in my view is the only constructive thing that can be gleaned from this.
If you want a proper competition get a sponsor and get everyone to a LAN.
