UK SI January 19th

Called up Gameplay.com today and enquired about SI. They're getting their copies on the 17th therefore pre-orders will be in players' hands on the 19th.

I've looked around everywhere else and to the best of my knowledge gameplay.com are the only UK distributors going with the 19th as the release date. Everyone else is going on the 21st.

If you pay for next day delivery from gameplay you actually get the game on the release date, as they will post it the day before.

well... instead of a relic raid maybe people should SI-raid their local game store.

Suggest one ram on the main shop door, one on the stockroom door, and a small zerg of kobbies/luris to bite the ankles of the security guards when they come to try and stop you.

I have mine pre-ordered with play.com and they still have the date as 21/02/02.

Not really all that bothered about getting it the SECOND it is released, though. Mmm.

Still got to get a new GFX card. But the thought of spending £150 just so I can see fake water is painful.

Play.com always send stuff out early (basically they send it as soon as they get stock) I've had DVD's from there weeks in advance of thier official release date so hopefully they do the same with games.

OK they really don't know what they are doing its changed since I checked it out on Wednesday when Gameplay changed their date.

Still nothing on the goa website - wheras the French and German versions have patch details up no w- so I assume SI is definitely not going live tomorrow on the English servers.

New German waiter

The population of the German players continuous to grow regularly and the first estimates of pre-orders of the play in German version show that a new rise of the number of players is to be envisaged on the German waiters in the days which come. Consequently we envisage to open a new waiter of German language tomorrow to absorb this flow of new players. The name of the waiter is now known it acts of Dartmoor. Be thus not astonished to see appearing soon new come in the list from the waiters.

So the Germans are now up to 5 waiters. Crikey.

Still of the 4 german servers 2 are close to capping regularly. There seems to be plenty of space on the 3rd, and the 4th doesnt seem to get above 1500 users. They must be expecting alot of new accounts.

The English servers are being patched tommorow also - GOA just changed our anouncement.

Can't believe I ordered from Gameplay on Monday due to some cockup on their website stopping me from setting up an account over the weekend then they changed thier release date to Friday during the afternoon and have not sent mine out yet...... sods!

Logres is between 1800 and 2300 whilst prydwen is 1500->1800

not massively packed mind you - so there must be quite a surge in numbers coming.

Official release date, if you want to buy it from english stores is 21st, HOWEVER, the servers are actually getting patched to using SI TODAY

that is if they can get the last files from those crummy yanks ...
