UK Music Festivals

Went to Isle of Wight festival in July which was brill, off to V in Staffordshire and Reading festivals in August...3rd visit to Reading and first to V (more of a going-because-mates-are-going type jobby...although some good bands on too).

Anyone else got festival plans for the rest of the summer?

PS: Don't make this a "lolol you like xxx or yyy type of music" thread. People are entitled to like what they like...festivals for me are mainly for the "extras"

I'll be at Cropredy this year, doing something I've wanted to do for years, namely going there by canal. Will be a nice change, sleeping on a boat rather than under canvas on a sometimes muddy field.

Went to Global Gathering last weekend, was fucking immense got to shake Tiestos hand and got his signature. Danced like a tit for hours on end.

The tunes were top notch, I went for all the trance DJs really, not into shapeshifters and all that malarky.

Went to the Download festival back in June, was absolutely awesome

No more plans until Download next year though - still trying to pay the credit cards off!

Not going to Reading cause of a lack of friends interest...

Just got back from Cambridge folk festival, that was fun, lots of crazy shit going on tbh.

Leeds coming up this month too, can't wait to see Muse and Pearl Jam play.

Would love to goto Lollapalooza in the U.S. as it has more of the kind of bands I am into, Billy Idol was fucking awesome there last year, just watching the video made me want to be there.

Was due to go myself, have a friend in Chicago...but sadly she's gotta go to her sisters wedding...bitch!
