Just posted a thread to get peoples opinions on this? Im looking for a ISP with no download limits but most of all one that is very very reliable. Need ADSL aswell as i dont live in a cable area.

Aquiss, myself and Delket use them. They are small and a little more expensive but have superb support staff and great quality of service.

The worst is Orange some people have 21 days with no internet befor they care sometimes.

Fuck that. If Griffin goes down for more than 21 minutes (happens maybe 2-3 times a year; if that) I go insane. Screw 21 days.

thats probably from the days of wanadoo and that same shit service just continued when orange took over.

i can tell you from working there that they really dont care a shit about the service.

on BT atm, 500k/s is the best i can get for this area (country bumkin) was on 10 meg NTL (virgin) before when i lived down south, both good lines but if something goes wrong expect to be speaking to india for up to an hour a call and get nothing sorted.

You are prolly right some Orange exec went on to watchdog to say sorry to everyone affected and they they are working hard to fix the problems ect.

I am with BT too and my top tip is when you get to India say i want to complain and they transfer you to a English speaker :)

If ISP stands for International Sexual Predator then I am by far the best that the UK has to offer!

God damn, stay away from BT these days. I was with them for 4 or so years and they were great till they moved support abroad. Indian call centres = BAD!

And yes im with Aquiss like Cho, great ISP if your a heavy user bit less so if not but great customer support. UKFSN is meant to be pretty good too.

I'm with Orange and it is soooo bad. :(. Always disconnects for about 2 minutes then connects again. Can happen 5-10 times a day if i'm on it for alot of the day.

Me too, never had one problem yet with BT and been on them for 2+ years now :)

Only went with them in first palce as thats the BT line and seeing my friends chopping and changing providers like they are dirty underwear, its the best choice! :)

Im on both NTL in a rural area (nottinghamshire) and inner city (birmingham). The rural service is excellent, however I find in the city their pipes are probably over-used as the inet can get very slow at peak times.

of course that is all irrelavent to adsl :p

If you want the best go for Nildram unlimited package. It's expensive £26.99 a month but easily the best, it`s the fastest, most reliable and the customer server is excellent check out pretty much any ADSL review online. I've been with them for 8 months and never had any problems pipex told me 2 meg was the most I could get Nildram give me 7400kbps.

I was with Nildram for a long period, however one event left me with a bitter taste.

They are "ok" but have been going downhill recently imo.

They shot their load in your mouth (and had been eating lemons all day?)

BT for 5 years now only one Major problem. Moved the boradband from one line to another and they tried to charge me to end one contract and start another. Had a good moan about it and everything got sorted.

And since i lost the homehub for a Netgear router my service is brilliant connected at 8mb and have been connected now for 23 days. Home hub would get 3 new ip address a day where it kept disconnecting
