At the moment im in the process of looking for a new PC. I've had a look a look at trying to build one but I neither have the time or the knowledge to try building one. So i've been looking round for a good comapny to buy off. So far ive looked at Evesham, Mesh and Dell. So far Mesh seems to be the best deal and Evesham the worst. So I was wondering where else could I get my best bang for buck as it were. I have about £1500 to spend and I do need a screen with the computer.

Stay far away from dell, they're cheap but really shit build quality.

A client of mine bought a pc from cube and I was astonished at how fast windows installed on it. He got a very reasonable price and a really quality PC. Worth a look.

I had a look at that company nath and they didn't seem to be providing high specced PC'.s I'm still looking at the moment but can't seem to find anything.

One question which has bugging me is do I wait for Vista or do I go ahead and buy?

Vista is going to be end-of-year, assuming it doesn't slip again. Even then, there are so many crippled 'Editions' being produced that you might not be able to get the version you want with particular PC configurations (I still remember ending up with a Version of XP Home... fucktards). Even then, I can't think of a single reason to upgrade to Vista straight away. This isn't a "Win 98 to Win XP" revolution.

So yeah, I'd quite happily go for something now and worry about whether you need Vista House-with-a-Conservatory Edition or not when it's released. Fear the consumer confusion (and the inevitable rise in license fees).
