After the last time I did this i woke up real bad, and I mean real bad. I remember a quote from Andrew Eldritch that said: ' I do my best to learn from my mistakes. I learn for a while and then for some reason that I can't understand. I repeat them.'

Word! fucking word. Here I am half fucked up and after the last experience, I know when I wake, this isn't gonna be good. After all that effort in public of portraying that I am heading toward a sobriety, nah I fuck up again. So many quotes/anecdotes of value I could say here. I still don't learn >< IR GIMPED :p

And no, I am not an alcoholic, I am just getting old and think that I should slow down...

Stay awake (drinking water, and eating a sandwich perhaps) until you're almost sober, then go to bed. You'll sleep right through your hangover, that is, atleast if it's shorter than about 8 hours :p

The fact that you can quote the guy behind The Sisters Of Mercy speaks volumes about your age (late 30's-early 40's at a guess).
It also shows you're not as mashed as you could be. :)
