One or Two per event using roids in the UFC getting banned?

1 or 2 per MMA event in general. The (piss-poor) K1 event with Gracie and 2 others failing their tests a whole 2 weeks ago being the most recent.

UFC fighters have kept their noses clean for, oh a whole 2 months: Guillard being the last failure that springs to mind just now. Given that less than half the fighters on any given card are normally tested, and that noone shouts about the failures (hell Diego Sanchez managed to serve his 3 month ban before anyone realised he'd failed a test) and its far from a clever situation.

Anyway:

Shamrock? Bah, bullshit story (I hope!). That fight makes no sense at all. Only Shamrock Im interested in seeing just now is Frank getting his ass kicked by Baroni

Ken Shamrock should have gone back to the WWE when he had the chance, he is past it for real fighting and would have been popular in the fake thing.

Its far from just steroids: 1 official from the Nevada State Athletic Commission is convinced 1 fighter was stoned during a recent fight

Anyway, dragging myself back on topic, any fears of seeing that waste of space Shamrock in London are over: Bispings opponent announced as the other heavily rumoured choice. Doesnt make alot of difference really: I can only see there being 1 winner there.

Sadly it seems to be working given the reception he got @ manchester ( it was fucking lol, he came out to watch the rest of the fights after his match was over and as he was talking to his seat the cheering was louder than for the fight that was on at the time ) ( I think it was arlovski/werdum or machida )

Ah - will give you the one or two every event - and I forgot about Melvin - now that dude should have a major ban - doing coke days before a fight is not the best example lol....Have you noticed though nearly all the fighters who test positive for roids lose the fight that they were tested after...

I think Hamill is a slight step up for Bisping - my only fear is Hamill takes him down and does the lay n pray for 3 rounds, but I think Bisping should tool him standing - just hope he leaves the high kicks at home - Schafer caught them far too easily for my liking...

Im more into K1 nowadays, as some of the fighters are ph00king crazy. There are so many different MA events and sports nowadays that deserves attention these days though, so I've kinda given up watching anything at all

Cung le? Meh. Overrated, but current favourite of the fanbois. Watch him, hands held way too low throughout that fight. As soon as hes in against anyone decent he'll get picked apart.

Nice to see the Brit on the card doing well though, even if the crowd really werent in the mood for it after the main event. Stupid scheduling to save that fight for the end.

I was surprised at Tony in the Cung Le fight, thought Cung was entertaining but if he pulled that shit against top opposition he would get slaaaaammmmed all day , still was something different for the fans.. Not a bad fight card tho some of the cheesiness was a bit much - did anyone see that rapper giving it tons before the fighter came out - felt sorry for the dude having to wait in the cage and put up with a shit rapper whilst he waited....No wonder he whipped the dude
