there are loads of places you can get traditional jellied eels - a lot of old traditional pie & mash shops do em

my grandad's generation used to eat them

not my cup of tea tho

My nan eats them quite a lot. The eels are quite nice, the jelly is horrible tho!

lol turned out my favourite sushi, which I thought was mackeral, was actually eel and it's bloody lovely. Couldn't do the jellied eel thing though, I tried an oyster once and it had the consistency of something bernard manning would cough up in the morning...needless to say, on that occasion I did not manage to swallow
