TV Two Greedy Italians

BBC have done it again, found a couple of real characters and put them in a food show exploring modern Italy. The show works on every level, from nomnoms to laughs and is utterly brilliant. The drug rehab place near the end of the first episode is astonishing, now that is how you sort people with problems out, give them something to live for.

Dunno, not sure I could take her seriously though, love the idea of something like this on Spanish food though. These two Italians are brilliant, funny old men with a real love of food and Italy. The program leaves you with a real nice feeling of an hour well spent.

Iirc it was Gynewth and John Carling, both fluent in spaniard both lived there for years, conducting the show. They were driven around the country in a convertible (a Z3 i think) from place to place trying the best restaurants in the Michelin guide or something.

Will try to check the name when i get home, it was a funny and interesting vision, and yummy!

They are still on but not doing the touring they used to, bit of a shame really as thier old stuff was alot more interesting.
