Seriously though, why do people twink chars to 24 then own the bgs for a day or two, then prolly do it all again when they cap RP?

I suspect they are llamas who can't cut in in real RvR so they twink to 24 then own to make themselves feel good.

my ranger is twinked to hell. capped dex by a LONG way, lots of extra qui, a luri but with a str of 94 with self buffs etc...

did i twink him to own the battleground? nope, i did it because it makes it FAR easier to level, arrowshot's not a battleground char, he's just stopping there for a while because it's fun, then i continue leveling him as my main. but since so many of the other chars in bg are as you say, twinked to f**k, i'm damned if i'm gonna leave all my darkness falls jewelry behind when i go there

battleground is mostly high lvl alts anyway, very few people i've seen there are first characters or alts of sub lvl 30 players. it's a sort of playground of the rich and loaded still lots of fun in my oppinion

Well I'm a first character (on this server) and not only am I broke but my armour cons green, my weapons and bow con yellow and most of my extras are way below my level and I have to agree it would be nicer if all players were in my position. However it does make it a lot more challenging to know that you can only 1-shot a small ammount of your enemies.

Basically, its something that happens, doesnt make a huge difference to the game, but yeah it is a bit annoying at times. Just stay away from enemies dressed in black or other expensive dyes.

lvl your char past BG *shock horror* yes there are levels after 24, make him your main get to 50 make lots of moolah.

btw nebanob, as a ranger you wont be one shotting many people in the battlegroudns anyway, lvl's are too close together, but it doesnt matter really, we fire fast enough to make it so they are usually full of arrows before they can do anything about it anyway critting cloth wearers is the only real way to do it most of the time in bg, and they tend to (quite rightly!) have bt up constantly so you can't crit them for a one hit kill as your opening move, still they take soo much damage it doesnt matter because the next two arrows WILL kill them

only exeption to this are those lovely saracen rp cows <drools>

Twinks dont own at all, get yourself a lvl 24 char and give him a lvl 24 weapon and a lvl 50 weapon, and shift - i, then see which weapon has the highest effective d.p.s, same goes for armor and items.

if anything a lvl 24 twink was really high lvl items is more gimped than a lvl 24 with about the right lvl stuff

If no "twinks" were in the BG how many people do you think would be there?

My alt has black dye and all his equipment is orange con. I am not going to break all those very rare drops that i have sitting in my vault, not until they turn orange. At level 24 my mains equipment was all orange con too?

I am goning to level him to 50 and getting a few extra RA's at this level will help when I solo my way there.

Leveling past 40 is painfull at times and gettting to run around in instant BG is good fun.

If you think the people in the balck spoil the BG - Shoot them first.

Thinking about it i did not even dye my stuff black - its cast offs from a guild mates vault.

Serious case of "dye envy" I prescribe dealing with it or stop playing and get a life.

I'll reiterate for the mentally challenged. If you have nothing better to spend your coin on than black dye for your lvl24 alts (30g dye on lvl24 armour ROFL) then you suck.

I'm not talking about players using high lvl equipment. I'm talking about people who feel the need to raise alts, twink them to 24 then own the bgs for a few days...repeatedly.

Most of the losers who hang out in this forum will never see real RvR, possibly because they are incapable of cutting it in real RvR so feel the need to own the lowby bgs.

TipTap, I suspect you are one of the main protagonists. Solo to 50. lol Mr.No Mates.

Shame I don't play in the Excalibur bgs or I'd kick your dumb ass.

If ppl want to spend 30g on black dye, whats to stop them ? ffs its a colour.
Yes it is a waste of money but at lvl 40-50 having over 1 plat is pointless unless you craft.
I've got 1.7 plat, 300g which I just traded to my lvl 9!! yes 9 Minstrel on Prydwen server, the rest just sits in my backpack restoring Con and buying horse tickets.
If I chose to spend 30g+ on dye then I will, its my decision, so stop posting bullshit and go level your char and play "real rvr" yourself.
Unless you cant "cut it"..

Ive taken quite a few ppl with one-shots, admittedly all casters and all sitting down and all the same avalonian who rests in the same place, but still...

On another note, you often find all the twinked players will hunt each other more often than the rest of us, worthy opponents etc.

What does it matter if people spend a few 100g out of a few platinum on dye for there alt? Its hardly fun to sit and covet the stuff.

Its ok - I can go level an alt to 24 in any BG on any realm you fancy to give you a nice god ass kicking.

He He - solo to level 50 with this alt cos hes an alt - for soloing - and as a Void specced Eld its fun to solo. Have a nice long friends list to chat to peeps all day without needing to group - my main relies on groups to level so most of my time is spent in groups.
