TV help?

I just bought a new TV, not an expensive one really a Samsung 32" LCD jobby.

Thing is, sometimes its seems to blur a bit like a slow old fashioned TFT monitor trying to play a game. Ive noticed this too on the TV at work which a a very nice huge thing supplied by Sky (we were doing thier Sky credit card at the time).

Anyway. Is there any way to adjust this or fix it? Or is it just the way it is? I doesnt seem noticable on DVDs by the way.

Hmmm sounds like response time?

My dad just got a 46" Sony Bravia, and as good as it is, i can see motion smearing. DLP ftw.

Yeah the Bravia in a similar size was the other one I was going to get, didnt see much between them though.

If its arrived at default settings you'll want to spend time mucking around with it.

There will be some online guides, check them out.

Yep avforums mate, search your your tv model number. You will find a thread made by other owners and get some suggestions for settings that will make the picture better.

Glad it's sorted Throd, out of box settings are usually pretty toss.

Normal terrestrial PAL is about 768x576, 4:3 or 16:9
