Turn off ae speed omfg

How difficult is it to keep ae speed turned off until you take off, or just move away from the hastener? It is so damn annoying for the people without speed that has to use the hastener when it gets overwritten by some bard who is too lazy to move away. And that you have to find out who has the croc ring, msg him politely and ask him to either turn it off or move away, and then use the hastener. It's great when we can stick, but when the fu... bard is afk... we can't use the hastener until he's back or LD. Is it hard to think by yourself? I know bard can be a difficult class to play, but it's not that fucking hard to turn off speed before you actually take off, so that people without a bard can also get their speed....

No, but it's still annoying not to be able to use the speed that un-speeded classes have available when running in frontiers. It's not that it takes long to do the run, but it's the principle of it...

afaik nohelp only works if you don't want heals from outside groups.. tried it once, and it didn't work on ae speed.

I can understand you find it annoying but you shouldn't blame bards for a bug Mythic needs to fix (enable the /nohelp command for crocrings).

Besides that, i'm sure there are many non-speeded people at DL who apprieciate the speed from a bard when they are running off to Bolg. So far i only met people that were glad to get a piece of speed on their way.

But like i said at start, there should be a way for people who don't like the speed to turn it off for them.
